No news at TSG, Orient Pacific or Travelshop
With Perth based Travel Services Group having been placed in administration on Tuesday, there is little communciation emerging regarding the future of the Company and its Orient Pacific Holidays and Traveshop businesses.
Reports from WA say that as a result of allegations of making unauthorised payments, TSG Chairman Ferrone who has been declared bankrupt had already resigned his chairmanship of Australian Waterwise Solutions.
TSG owns wholesaler Orient Pacific Holidays and Travelshop branded agencies with calls to OPS being answered by voice mail advising that the company went into administration at 7:00pm on Tuesday 20 March and all enquiries should be made to PBB, which is the Melbourne based chartered accountants appointed as administrator, with Rod Flattery managing the administration.
Calls to Perth based TSG were answered but the person that answered the phone said that they were there only until the end of the week and that all enquiries should be directed to RSM Bird Cameron which has appointed Neil Cribb and Mark Conlan to either join the administrators or manage TSG’s finances, which is not clear.
Travelshop agents have been instructed to stop taking bookings with increasing speculation regarding the potential of misappropriation of trust funds.
