No survivors of plane crash in Pakistan
All 47 people on board the Pakistan International Airlines flight that crashed in the north of the country died.
It was carrying more than 42 passengers and five crew from Chitral to Islamabad.
The airline said flight PK661 lost contact with air traffic control shortly after reporting that it had lost power to one engine.
It came down in the Hevalian area, about 40 miles north of Islamabad. So far, 46 bodies have been recovered by troops sent to search the wreckage.
A pop start turned Islamic preacher, Junaid Jamshed, and his wife were on the flight’s passenger list, according to private news channel GEO TV.
Pakistan International was banned by the EU from flying to Europe in 2007 due to safety concerns.
