Nominations open for 2009 TravelMole UK Web Awards
Nominations have opened for the sixth annual TravelMole UK Web Award
The 2009 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held at Canada House in London on June 24.
Online voting has been introduced this year to create a shortlist of nominated companies.
An expert panel of judges will then determine the winners from the shortlist in each of the 15 categories.
Nominations are being accepted by June 10. Nominate here
Headline sponsors of the 2009 TravelMole Web Awards include the Canada Tourism Commission, Travelport and Youtravel.com.
The TravelMole UK Web Awards are open to all organisations and individuals involved in the travel industry in any of the categories.
Sites that have won awards in past are eligible for the current competition. Nomination is free of charge.
The TravelMole web awards were created to reward companies involved in the travel industry. In each category only four sites will remain at the end of the vote.
Those short listed sites will be judged by a jury of professionals and the top one of each category will be announced as the winner.
The categories are: travel agent, travel blog, tour operator, airline, Web 2.0, mobile technology, video, responsible tourism, recruitment, hotel group, cruise and ferry operator, tourist board, car rental, accommodation and holiday.
