Norfolk Island airfare special

Thursday, 27 Feb, 2006 0

Air New Zealand is making it easier to get to Norfolk Island with special economy class airfares.

The fares, for travel from Auckland direct, or from Wellington or Christchurch via Auckland, are $189* one way internet fare plus airport and government costs of $39. (Return government and airport costs may vary.)

With events in 2006 ranging from a Line Dancing Festival, Golf tournaments, a Country Music festival, and a Jazz Festival, there is something for everyone on the compact sub-tropical island only an hour and a half by air from Auckland.

The Air New Zealand fares can be purchased from now until 15 March 2006 and are available for travel between 1 April 2006 and 7 December 2006.  A closeout period applies from 15 May to 14 June.

Details are available from travel agents or online at www.airnewzealand.co.nz.

Air New Zealand also has a special seven night Norfolk Island holiday deal at Governor’s Lodge for only $899 per person, twin share internet level.

For Contact Centre or Travelcentre bookings a non-refundable service fee of $25 per person, per one-way journey and travel agent services fees may also apply.
