Norse Atlantic opens sales for Berlin transatlantic flights
New carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has opened ticket sales for transatlantic services out of Berlin.
New York and Los Angeles one-way fares start from €160.
Flights will operate daily from Berlin to New York (JFK) from 17 August.
The airline will also serve Los Angeles three times a week from Berlin starting 19 August from €189 one-way.
“We are very excited to announce these two new routes. For far too long Berlin has been subjected to poor direct transatlantic connectivity,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways.
Norse Atlantic offers Economy and Premium.
Passengers select from Light, Classic and Plus fares.
Light fares represent the value option while Plus fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services and increased ticket flexibility.
Flights are operated on Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets.
“The introduction of affordable point-to point flights between Germany and the US will benefit both local tourism and businesses,” Tore Larsen added.
