North America’s largest indoor theme park opens
North America’s largest indoor theme park is all set for its grand opening this week.
The 8.5-acre Nickelodeon Universe opens on Friday at American Dream Mall in New Jersey, with more than 35 rides and attractions.
Spongebob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer and other Nickelodeon characters will be featured.
The park will also have live shows, retail outlets, entertainment, and several restaurants.
The Nickelodeon Skyline Scream ride is being touted as the tallest indoor spinning drop tower in the world.
Ticket prices for Nickelodeon Universe are avilable online at $39.99 for general access although the opening Friday-Sunday weekend is listed as sold out, according to American Dream’s website.
There is a popular Nickelodeon Universe indoor park at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
American Dream’s is also getting a DreamWorks Water Park, which is slated to open on November 27.
It will feature more than 40 slides and 15 related attractions.
