Nova Scotia’s Authentic Seacoast Goes Online

The Authentic Seacoast™ Properties have launched a website – www.authenticseacoast.com – welcoming travellers to Nova Scotia’s vacation destination on the Eastern Shore. Nearly 400 years in the making, the Authentic Seacoast™ Properties bring together centuries of history, pristine Atlantic seacoast, exceptional recreational activities, quality accommodations and renowned dining in a collection of five unique brands in restored heritage buildings including:

• DesBarres Manor Inn, a luxury bed & breakfast inn and restaurant on the hill above Guysborough Harbour.
• Osprey Shores Golf Resort nestled on a peninsula between Mussel and Cutler Cove at the head of the Atlantic Coast’s largest bay.
• Rare Bird Pub & Eatery, a waterfront restaurant above the marina and home to the Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company specializing in premium handcrafted ales.
• Skipping Stone Crafts & Gallery with one-of-a-kind gift collections to create a unique Nova Scotia shopping experience.

The new website features the Authentic Seacoast 101, the definitive list of 101 activities for travellers visiting the Authentic Seacoast. Located at the head of Chedabucto Bay, the largest bay on the Atlantic Coast with more than 600 kilometres of shoreline, the Authentic Seacoastâ„¢ Properties provide a diverse range of activities including hiking the easternmost leg of the Trans Canada Trail, live East Coast music and kitchen Ceilidh parties, bonfires at Mussel Cove, oceanfront golf, legendary salmon fishing, culinary festivals, dozens of secluded beaches and coves, lighthouses, original fishing wharves, historic sites and much more.
