Novotel Nusa Dua invites Aussies back to Bali

Accor have announced that it will officially launch its first new-build hotel in Bali, the, Novotel Nusa Dua Hotel and Residences, on 15 March with a series of packages ideal for couples, families and adventure lovers.

Nusa Dua is considered one of Bali’s most popular, central, and family oriented precincts. The new mixed-used development is surrounded by the world-class Nusa Dua Golf and Country Club, and is just a stone’s throw from the Nusa Dua beach area, where the hotel runs a private Beach Club for guests.

The purpose built, 122 room hotel and apartment development comprises generous sized studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments. All ground-floor apartments offer the added convenience of plunge pools and are fitted out in a modern Balinese inspired style. The large airy living rooms, spacious bathrooms and wide range of room configurations makes the resort ideal for families, groups of friends and couples.

The four-storey hotel features rich timber doors that open into well appointed and beautifully furnished retreats. All upper-level rooms and apartments feature private balconies.

My Spa, the hotel’s spa and wellness centre, offers traditional Balinese massage, body treatments, and a hair salon.

A centrepiece of Novotel Nusa Dua is its 1500sqm infinity-edge pool, set in tropical gardens and featuring water walls. Other recreational facilities include an 18 hole golf course, volleyball, children’s playground and kids club. Restaurant facilities include a poolside café, patisserie and buffet restaurant.

Novotel  Nusa Dua GM Philippe Battle said the opening of the hotel reflected the growing confidence in Bali and he was confident that the Australian and New Zealand markets would return strongly to the destination over the next six months.

“The southern winter will be an important time for us,” he said.  “With the success of Jetstar’s new services and the continuing commitment by Garuda, there is easy flight access to Bali from Australia and prices are very attractive.

“We have already seen a strong resurgence from Australia in the couples market, but with the opening of hotels such as the Novotel we are looking to attract families and groups as well.”

The Novotel Nusa Dua will be Accor’s sixth hotel in Bali, joining a Sofitel in Seminyak, a Novotel in Benoa, Mercures in Sanur and Kuta and an All Seasons hotel in Legian.
