Now here’s a serious cruiser
The Mole knows that cruising gets in your blood and once you have tried it you are hooked, but private school administrator Neil Campbell, [pictured right] from WA exceeded even The Mole’s expectations, when Neil and The Mole met on the SuperStar Gemini, by Neil having been on over 36 cruises!
Neil has not only cruised on the Gemini 15 times – now if that is not an amazing recommendation I don’t know what is, but also Neil has cruised 4 times on the SuperStar Leo, 4 times on the SuperStar Virgo, twice on the QE2 and recently corssing the Atlantic both ways on the QM2!
In addition Neil has been on about four P&O cruises and another half dozen in his life.
Neil told The Mole that this time he was also recovering from an accident and he could hardly think of a better way or recuperating, than being on the Gemini.
He said that he was also cruising with his brother this time and the ability to come on board and unpack once was very special to cruising, while still travelling to heaps of places to see, with everything you want to do travelling with you.
Neil added that he believes that cruising is the ultimate stress relief and you can meet so many people and with freestyle dining you do not have to have dinner with the same people ever day of the whole cruise.
He said that he liked the Gemini because she was compact, easy to get to know and get around and like the bigger ships he has been on, not overwhelming, adding that the crew are fabulous.
Neil and his brother are doing the whole circumnavigation from Fremantle to Fremantle and are looking forward to seeing places in Australia, they have never seen before.
