NY designs UK-specific website
A dedicated website for the UK has been developed by the New York State Division of Tourism to assist in planning travel to the region.
The site at www.nylovesu.co.uk provides information relevant to UK travellers and travel agents and is designed to complement resources already available via www.iloveny.com and www.nycvisit.com
New York Division of Tourism European director Stella Photi said: “www.nylovesu.co.uk has been created because we recognise that people in the UK know less about the attractions of New York State outside of New York City than their US counterparts.
“This site goes back to basics and provides lots of travel and sightseeing ideas in each region of the state along with useful facts and figures like driving distances from the city.”
A themed search also allows users to identify the best places to play golf, ski, visit wineries, and shop and where to go for the most dramatic autumn foliage.
