NYC plans to ‘fully reopen’ by July
New York City is planning for a full reopening 1 July. Mayor Bill de Blasio said the city’s arenas, gyms, stores, restaurants and hair salons will be back up and running by then.
Since an almost total lockdown thee city has been slowly phasing in non-essential services and amenities. However the theaters of Broadway will remain closed until later this year.
"We’re all going to get to enjoy this city again, and people are going to flock here from all over the country," said de Blasio.
