Singapore based Far East Hospitality plans a major expansion with three new properties in Singapore and Malaysia.

Announcing the news at the 2015 ITB Asia Conference this week, the company will add more than 700 new rooms to the Oasia brand.

"As the region continues to mature and attract a strong stream of international arrivals, we believe we can replicate the success of Oasia Hotel Novena by bringing Oasia to other key gateway cities in the region, kicking off with Kuala Lumpur in the first quarter of 2016," said Arthur Kiong, CEO
of Far East Hospitality.

The 247-apartment Oasia Suites Kuala Lumpur will be a first for Malaysia, followed by Oasia Hotel Downtown in Singapore by mid-2016.

Oasia Downtown will house over 300 rooms.

A third property will take shape in West Singapore and is due to open in late 2016.

The Oasia Residence will have 140 residential units within the Seahill residential development and will offer full service apartments and resort amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre and a tennis court.

"This announcement for Oasia is an extension of our commitment to furthering our unique brand of Singapore-style hospitality and offering guests a wide range of choices in accordance to their travel needs and styles," Kiong said.
