Oceania cooks up onboard culinary curriculum
Oceania Cruises has put a unique spin on the idea of fine dining at sea.
The cruise line will offer the Bon Appétit Culinary Center on board the Marina and the Riviera in 2014, allowing guests to not only taste the regional foods of the areas they visit, but to try their hand at cooking them .
It has worked with Bon Appétit magazine to develop a 2014 curriculum that includes more than 20 classes in the ships’ multi-million-dollar culinary centers, which boast individual workstations for each guest.
Classes, which range from 45 minutes to three hours, cater to all levels of ability.
They are available on all voyages, with prices starting at $69 per person.
