Oceania reveals details of 2017 world cruise
Oceania Cruises has unveiled details of its 2017 world cruise, which it describes as the longest and most comprehensive world cruise itinerary in the entire industry.
The 180-day itinerary on the Insignia departs Miami on January 6, 2017 will sail to six continents, 36 countries, and a total of 98 ports of call, including 16 overnights.
"This is a landmark itinerary for Oceania. It’s designed for travelers who want to immerse themselves in the diverse cultures found throughout the world, and believe each destination should be savored and enjoyed in a leisurely manner," said Oceania COO Jason Montague.
Highlights include passing through the Panama Canal, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand, China, Thailand and India, the Middle East, the Red Sea and Europe.
The ship returns to Miami on July 6, and the cruise is priced at $39,999 per person.
