‘One Year On’ theme for Advantage business travel conference
‘One Year On’ has been announced as the theme at this year’s Advantage Business Travel Conference to be held at the Glasgow Hilton from the 1st to 2nd October. The theme will give speakers an opportunity to look back at the issues over the last year and to focus on the challenges in the future.
This year’s conference will consider different elements affecting business travel agents including operations, marketing and ancillaries. Speakers will include Marie Barry, Head of HR and Deputy Managing Director of Europcar who will talk about the art of managing people, Keith Haynes, Sales Director of P&O Travel who will discuss retaining and enhancing client relationships in larger agencies from a marketing perspective and Ian Mounser, Sales Director of Superbreak’s hotel programmes who will discuss ancillaries such as airport hotels. There will also be a one-to one debate with David Clover of the CAA.
In addition, Chris Morris, Managing Director of Wayte Bros will discuss management fees, John Morgan, Chief Executive of Travelforce will give a personal view of the current state of the business travel market and Will Galliford of Brown Shipley will tackle the benefits to the business of selling more than just air tickets.
