Onyx signs three new Thai hotels
Thailand based ONYX Hospitality Group is boosting its home market portfolio with three more hotels in the Pattaya area.
ONYX signed a management agreement with Thai real estate firm Ratanakorn Asset to introduce a hotel in each of its three main brands.
They are the 400-key Amari Jomtien Pattaya, the Shama Wongamat Pattaya and OZO Pratumnak Pattaya.
The new builds are slated to open between 2022 and 2025, adding 773 rooms and suites to the portfolio.
Amari Jomtien Pattaya is part of a mixed-use beachfront site in Na Jomtien, and features signature Amari amenities including Amaya Food Gallery and Breeze Spa.
Shama Wongamat Pattaya will take shape in North Pattaya with 250 residential-style units in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations.
OZO Pratumnak Pattaya will open first in 2022 with 123 rooms.
"Pattaya is the birthplace of the ONYX Hospitality Group growth story. It is with great excitement that we expand our reach in this key Thai destination, with all three of our core brands being represented," said Douglas Martell, president and CEO, ONYX Hospitality Group.
ONYX has nearly 50 hotels open across its three brands in eight countries, with a development pipeline of more 20 new properties.
