Opodo upgrades Energis contract

Opodo, the Pan-European online travel portal has awarded Energis a major upgrade to their existing contract in order to expand its managed hosting service.

To date Energis has been responsible for the managed website hosting of Opodo’s three markets: UK, Germany and France. Opodo said today that further to this, they [Energis] will also provide “new infrastructure and support for Opodo’s new data warehouse, which will enable Opodo to store and analyse customer data and tailor its services further to meet customers needs”.

Opodo ceo David Scowsill commented: “This significant increase in investment confirms Opodo’s commitment to build on our remarkable success in our three launched countries. It also reaffirms our trust in Energis to provide the necessary standards of managed hosting to support our aim to be the leading online travel service.”
