Orlando and NYC top best destinations for bringing in new year

Orlando ranks No. 1 on a new list of top New Year's Eve destinations, based on Travelocity ratings. .

Among the “City Beautiful's” best offerings for visitors:

“Being able to party close to the theme parks with Universal Orlando's Rock in the New Year with performances from top rock bands, plenty of nearby clubs and all-you-can-eat dining,” Travelocity said.

The rest of the top 10, in ranked order, included New York City, South Florida, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Cancun, San Francisco, Phoenix and Chicago.
