Online travel agent Ebookers is launching a 12% commission offer for affiliated agents making standalone hotel and car bookings.
The OTA says the move comes as it celebrates the fact that more than 1,000 travel agencies in Europe have now signed up to its affiliate programme “Ebookers for Agents”.
This programme gives agents access to hotel, package, flight and car products and was launched in June.
The programme is currently available to UK and Ireland agents as well as selected European sites and will roll out to other European markets next year.
Ebookers says it is offering 12% for standalone hotel and car hire for a full year, 4% for package bookings and 1% on flights.
Head of marketing Steven Rice said: “Ebookers for agents is the perfect solution for travel agents who want access to ebookers broad range of hotel and package deals whilst simultaneously reducing the bonding costs they are traditionally exposed to. “The 12% commission promotion is our way of saying thank you to all the registered agencies as well as a way to allow them to offer the most competitive inventory together with superior commission rates.”
