Outrigger names new marketing and e-commerce director for Asia

Outrigger Enterprises Group has named South African Eugene Oelofse as new marketing and e-commerce director for Asia Pacific.
 
Oelofse has more than a decade of experience in branding, communications and marketing and previously served at Akaryn Hotel Group in Thailand as branding and communications director.
 
He also worked at Premier Hotel & Resorts Group in his native South Africa.
 
He is now based at Outrigger’s Asia office in Phuket and reports to sales and marketing vice president Mark Simmons.
 
"Eugene’s online, digital and communications skills in the leisure sector will be a major asset to Outrigger Resorts," said Darren Edmonstone, Outrigger managing director, Asia Pacific. 
 
"Given our direction to further grow our B2B and B2C outreach with innovative initiatives and programmes, Eugene will provide a strong resource in these areas to support this."
