Page & Moy to sell through agents
Direct-sell operator Page & Moy is to be sold through the trade for the first time.
Fromer Bourne Leisure head of agency sales Colin Wilson has been recruited in the newly created role of head of agency sales.
He has been appointed to set and up develop travel trade relationships, identifying the key selling agents, developing an agent training programme, incentive schemes and setting “an attractive commission rate” for agents, according to the company.
Wilson said, “I am so excited about taking this position. Page & Moy has incredible brand loyalty and an extremely high repeat factor among their customers.
“It is my goal to work with travel agents to build their knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm to mirror this loyalty”.
The company’s group sales and marketing director Rob Rees said: “This is an exciting time for Page & Moy, selling through the travel trade is completely new to us, but I am more than confident that with Colin’s direction and passion it will be a major success.
“We are also delighted that agents will have the opportunity to sell these high quality escorted tours. Page & Moy offer a range of products from European and worldwide tours to river and ocean cruising and even Formula One breaks”.
