PAL to trial IATA’s Covid-19 Travel Pass
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines is the latest airline to trial IATA’s Travel Pass digital health app. It wil pilot the app with passengers on selected flights out of Manila to Los Angeles and Singapore beginning in May. The trial will last until June initially.
The IATA Travel Pass mobile app allows the uploading and verifies Covid-19 test results. It will offer a smoother and quicker check-in process at Manila NAIA. PAL said.
PAL is the latest of many airlines which have agreed to or have already started trials of the app on flights.
