Palace Resorts extends bonus program
Palace Resorts has extended its Travel Agent Commission program through 2004, the company announced. The bonus program applies to bookings of at least three nights at any Palace Resort property in Cancun and the Riviera Maya in Mexico, and at the new Grand Beach Palace in St. Thomas, USV. For each stay of three nights or longer, travel agents receive a $50 bonus commission per room. For every 10th room reserved, agents receive an additional $250 bonus. Groups of up to 25 rooms quality for the promotion, according to Maira Briceno, sales and marketing director. She told TravelMole: “We don’t offer free rooms to agents because we’ve found the best incentives for agents is cash.” The Palace properties are all-inclusive. “Travel agents find their clients love it because they don’t have to spend a penny,” she said.
