Pandaw launching new river ship
Asia river cruise specialist Pandaw recently announced the construction of a brand-new ship, the RV Hanoi Pandaw.
Set to launch on 1 November 2026, this new vessel will join the Angkor Pandaw on the popular ten-day voyage through North Vietnam’s Red River and Halong Bay region.
The itinerary takes cruisers along rivers and canals from the limestone karsts of Halong Bay to rural villages, artisan workshops, and into the heart of Hanoi.
“North Vietnam is one of the last frontiers for river exploration in Asia,” said Pandaw Founder Paul Strachan.
“The RV Hanoi Pandaw will allow us to deepen our connection with this region and share it with more travellers in classic Pandaw style.”
Departure dates and rates for the new ship’s sailings are now available online.
