Pandaw unveils Kerala itineraries
Luxury river cruise operator Pandaw River Expeditions will offer seven-day tours of the waterways of Kerala beginning later this year.
Four sailings are scheduled – December 2, 2015 and January 12, February 23, and March 22, 2016.
Prices start at $1,530 based on double occupancy in a twin cabin.
Aboard the MV Vaikundam, the itinerary will include a three-night stay at the Vivanta by Taj in Malabar, Cochin, along with visits to Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church, and the Dutch Palace.
The cruise will travel from Thottapally to Kanjipada, and on to Champakkulam village.
Activities en route include village walks, a tour of Kochin spice market, fishing and canoeing.
"Pandaw was one of the founders of river cruising in India and we are now delighted to offer this combined cruise and land package, exploring some of the most fascinating and historically-interesting waterways in the world," said Hugh Clayson, Commercial Director, Pandaw River Expeditions.
