PanPac to look for new property in Bangkok
Pan Pacific Hotels’ agreement to operate Pan Pacific Bangkok hotel in Thailand until the end of 2010 will not be renewed.
PanPac has managed the hotel, owned by Ramaland Development Co. Ltd., under the Pan Pacific brand since 1995.
Ramaland Development Co. Ltd is owned by Kajima Corporation Japan.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group currently operates Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok, which opened earlier this year
“We have had a great relationship with Ramaland Development over the last 15 years and we wish them every success with the property,†said A. Patrick Imbardelli, president and CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
“We will be strongly pursuing new opportunities for our brands in Bangkok and Thailand.
“We are confident of the long-term prospects of this amazing country and it will not be long before we find that brand-defining and brand-relevant hotel for us.â€
