Paris hotel cordoned off in ‘false alarm’
A false alarm near the Eiffel tower led to panic with heavily-armed guards evacuating the area.
Anti-terror police were spotted on Saturday night at the Pullman Hotel on Avenue de Suffren near the Eiffel Tower.
Guests were told to stay in their rooms and the hotel was cordoned off to keep people out. The Champs de Mars RER station was also temporarily closed.
The incident was later described by the French interior ministry as a false alarm, reports the Daily Mail.
