Passenger attempts cockpit breach before jumping down emergency slide
A man tried to storm the cockpit of a plane at Los Angeles before taking flight down the emergency slide on to the tarmac. The FAA said he was apprehended on the taxiway and taken to hospital for treatment to injuries he sustained on the slide.
The FAA said the man had tried to breach the cockpit but gave no details on what triggered the bizarre incident. It happened on a United Express flight operated by SkyWest which was due to fly to Salt Lake City.
