Passenger bites TSA officers
The unruly air traveler hall of shame keeps growing by the day. The Transportation Security Administration made a public appeal for passengers to ‘remain calm and respectful’ after numerous reported assaults against TSA agents.
The TSA cited one incident of a passenger who allegedly bit two TSA officers during an altercation. The recent incident at Denver Airport is still under investigation and civil penalties are possible.
The agency says it has opened more than 1,700 compliance investigations since the wearing of masks on public transportation was required.
