Passenger charged for ‘mile high club’ proposition
An airline passenger’s indecent proposal has landed him in trouble with the FBI.
According to the Department of Justice, James Warren Finnister, 47, allegedly invited flight attendants to join him in the ‘mile high club.’
He is now facing charges of interfering with flight crew members, sexual harassment and engaging in disruptive behavior.
It happened on a Spirit Airlines flight from Louisville to Orlando International Airport.
Court documents allege Finnister propositioned a flight attendant if she wanted to join the ‘mile-high club,’ and then grabbed another to ask the same question.
He then became more disruptive.
He began lying on the floor after being moved to a new seat and then asked to enter the cockpit.
Finnister admitted to the FBI he downed ‘multiple alcoholic shots’ before the flight to calm his nerves.
The charges could land him a 20-year prison sentence.
