Passenger misses flight, makes bomb threat
A JetBlue passenger who missed his flight called in a bomb threat.
The passenger checked in his bags at Las Vegas for the flight to Los Angeles International Airport but never made to the gate on time.
He then made a phone call bomb threat, saying his luggage may have an explosive in it.
He was then detained by police.
When the flight landed at Los Angeles, it remained on the tarmac for more than an hour before passengers were deplaned.
“A search of the plane, passengers, and contents revealed that there was no threat,” Sgt. Rob Pedregon of the Los Angeles Airport Police said.
