Passport Online offers FB automated posting for agents
Passport Online has introduced ESP, a new automated social media posting service for travel agents.
The program was unveiled at the Vacation.com annual conference and trade show in Las Vegas and handles the task of posting social media content such as updated news, trending topics, tips, travel photos, questions and the latest travel deals.
Agents who sign up can revise the frequency of posts and opt out of individual post if they choose.
Agents will have six days to review the content before it goes live.
Beginning initially with Facebook marketing, Passport Online schedules posts for when most visitors are online in the agency’s tine zone.
"With ESP, Passport Online handles the creative requirements and saves time by automatically posting engaging content for agents on their consumer-facing Facebook pages via the Facebook API," said Greg Kott, CEO of Passport Online.
Kott also said other social media platforms will be added over time and there are plans to create more distinctive content that will focus on specific niche travel segments and destinations.
Passport Online is a website and e-marketing partner for Vacation.com and works with many agent consortia and travel brands.
