Paul Riches leaves youtravel, again
Paul Riches has left bed bank youtravel.com for the second time.
Riches was sales and marketing director at Youtravel until 2011, when he left to join holiday home specialist Interhome and then joined lowcostbeds as global business development director.
He returned to youtravel as its new UK and Ireland managing director last year and then became chief sales officer.
Announcing his departure today, he said: "We have managed to grow the overall business both in profit and turnover, for 2015/16, despite probably the most challenging trading conditions we have seen in the sector for some time.
"I have been discussing the best direction for the business for some time and felt that it is in the best interests for me to step down at this time."
MD Roula Jouny said: "We would like to thank Paul for all his hard work and efforts in helping to grow the youtravel.com business and now wish him every success for the future."
