Peace through Tourism, University of Sydney Course
Enrolments are now being taken for the University of Sydney’s Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies course, Peace Through Tourism (PACS6910).
This postgraduate Winter School unit of study, which was offered for the first time last year, is the only course of its kind in Australia.
The course will be held from July 13 to July19, 2006 and there are twenty places available.
IIPT Executive Committee member, Dr Lynda-ann Blanchard is the course coordinator.
Tourism and travel professionals with industry experience are especially welcome to enrol as audit (non-degree) students at a reduced fee – a Certificate in Peace Tourism from the University of Sydney will be awarded to those who complete the course.
