Peacock denied boarding
A passenger who tried to take a peacock on a flight was blocked by airline staff at Newark airport in the US.
United Airlines said the bird, which was described as ‘an emotional support peacock’ couldn’t fly due to health and safety fears.
The woman, a New York-based photographer, had booked a seat for Dexter the peacock on the flight to Los Angeles but United Airlines decided it was too big and heavy to travel in the cabin.
