Pegasus adds Amex
Pegasus Commission Processing has added American Express’s European subsidiary. “Pegasus has had a long running head start in this area. We were the first to introduce automated, consolidated commission offerings to Amex in America in 1992,” said Jeff Bzdawka, senior vice president, service delivery, Pegasus Solutions Inc. Pegasus Commission Processing completes the room reservation transaction for travel agencies in more than 200 countries representing more than 35,000 properties. Eight of the top ten US travel agencies, including Expedia and Navigent, have signed up with Pegasus, according to Mr Bzdawka. Eight of the top ten travel agencies in the UK also are members. “From a commission processing standpoint, no one else is able to offer a complete solution,” said Mr Bzdawka. The Dallas-based companies biggest future potential for growth is Europe, he added. Report by David Wilkening
