Pegasus Airlines establishes Silicon Valley tech lab
Turkiye based carrier Pegasus Airlines has started working on its next phase of digital transformation.
The airline recently established a Silicon Valley-based Tech innovation lab.
“This lab will enable us to monitor the latest tech advancements worldwide. We will continue to enhance and add value to our processes and our guests’ experiences,” said CEO, Güliz Öztürk.
The airline launched its digital transformation programme in 2018 under the motto Your Digital Airline.
“We are getting ready to take an exciting new step to further the sustainable development of this digitalisation journey,” Öztürk added.
According to Barış Fındık, Chief Information Officer, Pegasus will evaluate partnership opportunities with start-ups, universities and technology and aviation stakeholders.
It plans to put a focus on artificial intelligence, mobile capabilities and self-service solutions ‘that we believe will directly enhance our business.’
