Pentahotels checking in to Bangkok
Germany based Pentahotels has announced its market entry into Thailand with the first pentahotel in Bangkok.
The new build property will be located in Lumpini featuring 157 guestrooms.
Pentahotel Bangkok, Ploenchit will also have a swimming pool and gym plus the signature pentalounge lobby and social space.
"The announcement of pentahotel Bangkok is an important milestone for our brand, marking our entry into the Thailand market and expansion into Southeast Asia," said Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer of Rosewood Hotel Group, pentahotels’ parent company.
"The pentahotels brand concept offers an entirely new hotel experience to guests, which has seen tremendous success in Europe and Asia. In Bangkok, we have chosen the Lumpini location for its international business appeal and vibrant local and expatriate scenes.
The company inked a management deal with owner The Nest Property Company Ltd and expects to open for business in 2020.
Pentahotels has previoously announced plans to open a second Hong Kong property this year.
