Plane turns around mid-journey after boxing fans start fight
Two boxing fans caused a plane to turn around mid-journey after starting a fight of their own.
The JetBlue aircraft was only 25 minutes into the flight when the decision was taken to return to New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport.
Witnesses said two Irish passengers, believed to be on their way to the Conor McGregor v Jose Aldo Las Vegas mega-fight, started fighting.
The JetBlue flight had already been delayed when one man was escorted off for interrupting the cabin crew’s safety demonstration, reports the Daily Mail.
