Plumb the depths with Antigua’s new sub voyage
The new Subcat Antigua tour offers visitors an underwater voyage in a submarine and a chance to eyeball stingrays, sharks and turtles, not to mention thousands of tropical fish and coral species, off the western coast of Antigua.
A ferry transports visitors along the south west coast to the dive site at Winter Hill. As the ferry rides along the Western coast there are white sandy beaches to admire as well as sail boats, fishermen, jet-skiers. Visitors can stroll straight into the sub through the large entrance to embark on their underwater adventure in air-conditioned comfort.
The submarine dives to the sea bed at a depth of 30 metres where the underwater adventure begins. A submarine host provides a narrative identifying different creatures and answering all your questions about life under the sea.
