P&O Ferries director to leave company
P&O Ferries passenger services director Simon Johnson is to leave the company at the end of August following a reorganisation of the operator’s commercial function led by commercial director Janette Bell.
The operator said Johnson, who has been responsible for the consumer business, marketing, onboard services and revenue management, would pursue his own interests.
Johnson added: "I feel privileged to have been the custodian of such a strong brand. I’m very grateful to P&O Ferries for giving me fantastic opportunities to develop my career and I am very excited about the future."
He said his departure would give others "the chance to step up and take on some of the many and varied commercial challenges."
