Police seek info on laser attacks at Sydney airport
An ABC report says that police are asking for help after reports of a laser attack on a plane over Bossley Park in Sydney last night.
A plane reported an infra-red laser light being shone about 9:30pm AEDT.
Police say the flight was from Cairns and that they are investigating the complaint, apparently from a Virgin Blue pilot.
After receiving the complaint, officers made general patrols of the Bossley Park area.
Last Friday night, six planes had to alter their flight paths into Sydney Airport after being targeted by laser beams.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Fairfield police on 9728 0399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
