Independent tour operator, Prestige Holidays, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of John Joinson as business development manager for Southern England.
His appointment brings Prestige’s sales team to six with three managers working in the South, one in the Midlands and North and one covering Scotland and the Isle of Man.
The sales team is lead by sales manager, Colin Sanderson, who said: “John has a strong background in the travel industry having worked for high profile firms including Thomson Holidays, Meon Villa Holidays, Alamo Rent A Car and Worldspan.
“John will be responsible for increasing sales and cementing relationships with agents in the South of England. He will also organise agents’ familiarisation trips, undertake agents’ training and participate in promotional events and client evenings.”
