Princess Cruises teams up with The Travel Institute
The Travel Institute inked a partnership deal with Princess Cruises to boost travel advisor training resources.
The strategic partnership is initially for one year and will deliver educational content such as sponsored webinars and booking incentives.
Princess will work together with the Travel Institute on its new Alaska Destination Specialist Course.
It comes ahead of Star Princess debuting Alaska itineraries.
There will be a Princess Cruises booking incentive for graduates of all Travel Institute certification programs.
“Travel advisors are the lifeblood of our industry. We’re investing in the long-term success of the entire travel community,” Carmen Roig, Princess’ SVP of sales and trade marketing.
Princess will financially support the TripKit training program for new travel advisors and scholarships.
It also plans to sponsor Travel Institute’s ‘New to the Travel Industry’ starter webinars.
