Princess launches ‘Discovery’ themed cruises
Princess Cruises and the people behind the Discovery Channel have joined forces to launch nature and wildlife themed cruises, activities and excursions.
The new Discovery At Sea cruise will feature themed tours, science activities, hands-on programmes and games designed to bring to life the ‘nature, wildlife and history’ of the regions guests are sailing.
Starting next year, these will include Discovery Under the Stars – select cruises focused on the night sky – and Shark Week at Sea, designed to challenge adults and kids with trivia games and a variety of themed activities.
In addition, the cruise line will run special Discovery, Animal Planet and Science Channel shore excursions and a Discovery Kids and Teens programme.
