Prunella Scales and her four legged friend
Actress Prunella Scales has put her support behind the Ride Round England charity event hoping to raise £250,000 for the Family Holiday Association and Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre next year.
The Ride, which will take seven months starting in May next year, involves one man and his horse covering 2,500 miles and taking in 30 cathedral cities on the way.
John McDonald, director of the Family Holiday Association, said: "Prunella has been a wonderful patron and supporter of the Family Holiday Association since the 1970s, so it was great for her to meet William Reddaway and his horse Strider who will make this extraordinary undertaking next year."
