Qantas B767s given a makeover
Qantas will fast track the refurbishment of 16 Boeing 767 aircraft with new interiors and individual in-flight entertainment.
The refreshed B767s will predominantly fly between Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The first refurbished B767 has started operations while the last aircraft is targeted for completion by the end of March 2013.
Cabin interiors have been upgraded and in-flight entertainment (IFE) will be streamed direct to iPads in every seat.
Qantas is also offering free fast wireless internet connectivity at 40 Qantas lounges nationally, following completion of the rollout of a new Optus WiFi solution.
The service is available to all Qantas Club and Qantas First and Business Lounge customers at domestic and international terminals at 20 capital city and major regional airports.
