Qantas brings JAL reward bookings online
Qantas frequent flyer members now have the option of redeeming Qantas points for bookings online with all oneworld airline partners.
It gives members access to more than 1,000 destinations worldwide via more than 50 partner airlines when booking on Qantas.com.
The entire oneworld network is now covered for online redemption after Japan Airlines was added to instant bookable reward flights.
Previously, Qantas frequent flyers could only book JAL flights by phoning the Qantas contact centre.
JAL’s flight network covers 70 destinations in 20 territories.
"Booking a reward seat is the most popular way Qantas Frequent Flyer members like to use their points and being able to do that online with all of our oneworld partners makes that process much easier," Qantas said.
"Giving access to book online with all of Qantas’ 12 oneworld partners, along with many of our other partner airlines, opens up more opportunities when they’re booking their next holiday."
