Qantas slammed for booking baby on different flight than parents
An Australian couple blasted Qantas after it bumped their baby off their flight.
Their flight home to Australia from Rome, Italy had to be rescheduled. However, the baby was booked on a separate flight.
Parents Stephanie and Andrew Braham said they had to make over 50 phone calls before Qantas fixed the problem. Still, the solution was not ideal. The correct rebooked flight was for 12 days later

Sadly there are no words to be said that fixes the past for Stephanie and Andrew. As agents we see this sort of bizarre issue across a range of airlines. Qantas just stepping up to take their turn at unbelievable. Agents deal with this stuff every day, and hopefully their agent was making the 50 calls... if not... the agent dodged the bullet. We can generally fast track issues to 1-5 calls.... 50 is around the bend. Hazard a guess that Stephanie and Andrew booked it themselves online? No excuse for poor service, but consistent with how airlines treat their customers by outsourcing support to robots and those who can not make a decision.
