Radisson Hotel Group launching new independent brand
Radisson Hotel Group has unveiled a new brand showcasing independent hotels and small chains.
Called Radisson Individuals, properties are selected for their ‘original personalities and characteristics’, the company says.
"We created Radisson Individuals in response to the evolving demands of the modern market. Joining Radisson Individuals is an ideal first step for individual hotels with strong service scores who wish to remain independent or may be considering transitioning to one of our successful core brands in the future," said Federico J. Gonzlez, CEO, Radisson Hotel Group.
Hotels hoping to join Radisson Individuals will go through a rigorous compliance assessment focusing on health and safety compliance, online rating, fire compliance, and their ability to connect to the Group’s main operating systems.
Hotels will be trained in the group’s "Yes I Can!" service concept.
Radisson Individuals member hotels can also become part of loyalty program Radisson Rewards.
Upscale hotels will be found in major cities, near airports and close to key business or leisure destinations.
"The launch of Radisson Individuals marks another milestone in our ambitious five-year transformation plan to be recognized as one of the top three hotel companies in the world," Gonzalez added.
With Radisson Individuals, the Radisson Hotel Group portfolio now numbers nine brands, after Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, and prizeotel.
